Chattin with KEOS & VISION VOICE VEG*N'z For the Brazos Valley Events

Yesterday I stopped by KEOS FM for a short visit on air with my buds, Shelly Blair and Vandy Ramadurai hosts, of Fair and Feminist. Had a great time as usual. Love to chat it up with these young women. Thanks for letting me crash the party for a few.

I was sharing the info about our group’s, VISION VOICE VEG*N’z for the Brazos Valley, up coming holiday event on Saturday, December 12th, from 8am to 5pm at VILLAGE FOOD’S parking lot, over there in Bryan on Briarcrest Drive. Bless the Beasts and the Children is the name of this donation drive-thru and it benefits so many of the wonderful local organizations:

*Brazos Feral Cat Alliance
*God’s Little Creatures
*Great Pyrenees Rescue Society
*Impact Animal Foundation
*Scotty’s House

All donations are tax deductible and the requested items will soon be posted on the group’s blog, my blog, on flyers at Village Foods, Village Cafe, KEOS, KAMU, and many other places.

You can catch me and members of these groups, Tuesday, December the 8th on KBTX’s Brazos Valley this Morning AND on Thursday, December 10th on KAMU TV’s Brazos Magazine with Sharon Colson promoting this event.

We look forward to a great turn out!

Also shared these events our group is involved in:

*November 3rd meetup, Village Cafe, 6:30pm, John Borden from Edible Aggieland will be our guest speaker discussing what their group is doing around the community. Chris and Chef Martin at the VC are making up a special menu for us at very reasonable prices. You don’t have to order. Would like to see more Vegans and Vegetarians come on out and join us. Or if you are considering making the transition, come on to the meetup.

*November 14th is the Hazardous Household Waste Collection at the old TI/TAMU Systems Bldg out on Highway 30 from 7am to 2pm. This is a great chance to clean out the garage or shop of all the oil, batteries, paint, etc. For a complete list, look on their website.

*December 6th, 2 members of our group and the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society are holding a garage sale. This is another chance to clear out, clean up and redistribute your “stuff” that you no longer need or use. Donated items will be sold and money goes to the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society. Contact me for more info on this.

So, that’s what’s going on with our groups events. If you are interested in joining in any of these great opportunities to serve your community, or need more information on these events, or just questions in general.... go ahead and contact me.

Until Next Time......

GOOD HEALTH TO ALL!!
